Do I need to emphasize that being a dapper man means you like the finer things in life? I don’t think so. Well on another note, being dapper doesn’t necessarily means you must be wealthy but wealth on the other hand, complements dapper living. I know a whole lot of men who are wealthy gentlemen but aren’t dapper meanwhile the reverse holds true. Dapper lifestyle is an intrusive ingredient to a gentleman’s personal idiosyncrasies. Dapper men love luxury and affluence – truth being told, whether it has to do with cars, grooming kits, timepieces, footwear, appliances, clothing etc.
When it comes to cars, a dapper man is always looking passed the commute service that it renders into the comfort and personality aspect. But where real dapper men set themselves apart is when it comes to shrewdness into the nitty-gritties surrounding the specific choices they make. Reason why I have succumbed to the idea that owning an exotic car like a Lamborghini is a better choice than owning 3 luxury vehicles put together.
Exotic cars will get you lots of attention and recognition whether you are on the road, at the club or just have it sitting in your driveway. There is something about the sleek lines of a great exotic vehicle that wows everyone and commands respect to the driver.
Talking about zero – hundred real quick? or Soft Touch and experience magic? Exceptional performance is the name of the game when it comes to exotic cars. They are made a cut above with manufacturers using their best brains to pour their best high performance options into each release. When you get behind the wheel the experience is like no other. The power and handling send you on an unforgettable driving experience.
Exotics are built to last. Manufacturers pride themselves at being at the top of the automobile chart when it comes to beautifully crafted, high performance automobiles because the grade of materials used is compared to none. That ranking is apparent not only in the vehicle’s performance, but also in safety, appearance, high end options and construction.
Exotic cars a great way of silently telling people that you have made it in life. As a matter of fact, you do not need to make any verbal pronouncement of of you social status, the car speaks for you – what a great way of asking women out! When asked on Quora why people buy exotic cars despite their hefty prices, this is what one exotic owner had to respond
The rarer a car, the higher the worth and the better the chance it will be a collectible and it’s worth will increase. For example a brand new Lamborghini Diablo Alpine Edition cost about 100,000 USD in 1999 when it first came out. Today the same model cost between 200,000 – 360,000 USD despite being about 20 years old as shown in the picture below as of today December 6th 2018 from AutoTrader. This may not be the case for other exotics but generally exotic vehicles though. Your exotic car can also be a tax write-off. That’s right. Being self employed and driving to and from meetings, businesses or client get-together, your monthly payments are likely to earn you money back during the tax season. Isn’t this awesome? Earning money back on your car as you drive it!
Looking at these figures, it makes sense to rather buy an exotic car than lease one or buy 3 luxury vehicles right?.
There are some cars like Honda or Volkswagen that just won’t go up in value, no matter how new they look, low their mileage is, old they are or nice they are. The reason some cars go up in value is supply and demand. Most exotic cars are built in very limited numbers, because there is a small buyer pool due to very purchase value. About 200 Lamborghini Diablo’s were made in 1999 and about 2000 Diablos have been produced over 10 years. Meanwhile there have been over 20 million Honda Civics produced in the same time frame. To put that into perspective there are 10,000 Honda Civics for every Diablo.
In a nutshell, life is all about choices based on values. While some people value affluence, others do not even if they can afford but bottom line is, everyone has what they will spend money on regardless – values.
Would you buy an exotic car if you can afford? Let’s be honest on the comment section 🙂
